Pre-World Pride Chavura - Friday 6th July 2012

JGLG will be celebrating World Pride Kabbalat Shabbat with BKY, GJIL, Keshet UK and Rainbow Rabbis on Friday 6th July in the Main Sanctuary at the West London Synagogue in Central London W1.  We will have at least ten lesbian and gay Rabbis taking part!

The evening will start by us all joining members of West London Synagogue for a glass of Prosecco at 7pm and then for 7.15pm a service in the Main Sanctuary for one and a quarter hours.  It will be a musical service (drums/guitar/violin/cello) using the Shabbat Shira book with a separate special Pride booklet.  Baroness Rabbi Julia Neuberger will be welcoming us all to WLS. 

The food after the service will be in the Stern Hall and will be veggie (no fish or meat).  Please bring a dish.  It should be cold, preferably packaged food which does not need heating.  If you prefer, please bring a dessert.  Please also bring a bottle to share.

We feel doubly blessed to be separating Shabbat on two consecutive weeks and look forward to welcoming you to both services.
